Huron Business Centre
The Huron Small Business Enterprise Centre (HSBEC) is a partnership between the County of Huron and the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation. This small business support initiative recognizes the inherently high rate of self-employment and small business development in Huron County. The Huron Business Development Corporation provides this free, bi-monthly newsletter featuring the wide variety of adult learning and training opportunities available right here in Huron County.
Huron Manufacturing Association
Along with agriculture, tourism and cultural industries, manufacturing is one of the main pillars of the Huron economy. With a few exceptions, most of Huron’s manufacturers are very small, employing fewer than fifty people. In 1998, a core group of manufacturing and municipal leaders known as the Huron Manufacturing Group recognized the need for greater awareness, community support and further growth of Huron County’s manufacturing sector. The Huron Business Development Corporation puts together an edition of Learning & Training newsletter in Huron County!
Engage Huron
Engage Huron is a steering committee in Huron County whose purpose is to facilitate the connection of people in their 20s and 30s to existing initiatives, community groups and each other to make Huron County an attractive place to work, set up businesses and create a life.
