Births

Births occurring in Howick are no longer registered with the municipality.  Service Ontario receives requests for new or replacement birth certificates and certified copies of birth registrations at Service Ontario.  If you have not yet received a birth certificate, please contact the Office of the Registrar General at 1-800-461-2156 or visit the Service Ontario website.

Marriages

After the marriage ceremony, the completed marriage license must be mailed for registration to the Office of the Registrar General. Once the license has been registered, you may apply for a marriage certificate online through the Service Ontario website.

$125.00 ($48 to Province of Ontario - net fee to Howick $77.00)

Civil Marriage
$300.00 + HST(during business hours, at municipal office)
$350.00 + HST(outside of business hours, alternate location)

Rehearsal
$50.00 + HST

Travel
At current municipal mileage rate, locations outside of Howick Township
