Howick Reeve Art Versteeg and Clerk Carol Watson made a presentation to Mrs. Eckert’s Grade 5 class at Howick Central School on October 17 in celebration of Local Government Week. The Ministry of Municipal Affairs identifies the week of October 15-21, 2017 as Local Government Week to help teach children and youth about the key role municipal governments play in their everyday lives.
