North Huron Community Food Share

Updated

The North Huron Community Food Share has ramped up to support the food needs of folks who are unemployed through this crisis along with the regular clients. They are asked to register so that the right size of hamper can be prepared in advance. The hamper size is determined by the number in their family. They will be asked for their name, family members, general address, e.g. Wingham when they register. This information is collected so that numbers, JUST NUMBERS, are shared for lobbying/food/funding procurement purposes only.

They stay in their vehicle at the Food Share. Someone will come out and see who they are and then bring their food to them so that distancing is maintained.

Any one of these folks can also provide the information on how to donate funds for anyone that is interested.

Please note that the catchment area for the food share is County Rd. 25
(Blyth) north to Teeswater and from the lake to the Wellington-Huron Boundary.
