Updated

June 11, 2020

With construction now complete, the Ontario Provincial Police looks forward to delivering its policing services out of the new Huron County OPP Detachment at 325 Albert St. in Clinton, Ontario beginning June 22, 2020.

Citizens can expect the same high level of policing service from Huron County OPP members from this modern new policing facility.

As a result of significant improvements in technology, the OPP satellite offices in Exeter and Wingham are no longer required. The Wingham office will be closing on June 22, 2020. The Exeter office will be closing on June 29, 2020.

The OPP office located in the Goderich Town Office at 50 Courthouse Square will remain open as a Community Policing Office.

Controlled access to the new detachment will be in place in order to protect the public and detachment personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you have an emergency, call 9-1-1. For other police matters, call 1-888-310-1122.

Local detachment business inquiries can be made from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. at 519-482-1677.

Citizens can also use the OPP’s online reporting tool to report less serious incidents.
