Saugeen Conservation Water Safety Statement
Updated: Mar 5, 2025
🚨 Water safety statement in effect: March 4 – March 10, 2025. Saugeen Conservation advises that snowmelt and rainfall are expected to cause elevated water levels across the watershed, which may lead to localized flooding. Ice jams are also a risk due to thick river ice and heavy runoff. ✅ Water levels will begin rising today and continue into next week. ✅ Ice conditions are weakening—stay away from rivers, streams, and water structures. Stay safe and report flooding at saugeenconservation.ca/reportflood. This message remains in effect until March 10 at 4:00 p.m., unless updated.
