Canine Control
Canine Control - Help Your Dog Find Their Way Home! Dog Tags and kennel licenses are available at the municipal office. Owners are allowed to keep a maximum of three (3) dogs. If you would like to keep more than three (3) dogs, you must apply for a kennel license or the Canine Control Tribunal.
Exotic Animals
The Exotic Animals By-law prohibits owning, importing, selling, and displaying of exotic animals in the Township. Exotic Animals are defined as any animal listed in Schedule 'A' of By-law 30-2023.

Livestock in settlement areas
Livestock is generally prohibited in all settlement areas including the urban areas of Belmore, Fordwich, Gorrie, Lakelet, and Wroxeter. This includes the keeping of chickens/poultry in settlement areas.
