Adopt-a-Road Pilot Program

Adopt-a-Road Pilot ProgramThe Township of Howick Adopt-a-Road Pilot Program has been established as a public service program for volunteers to adopt a section of road right-of-way and keep it clean.  Council and staff congratulate Alana Dickert (L) and Stephanie Reinink (R), shown here with Public Works Coordinator Wray Wilson, for being the first to Adopt-a-Road in Howick Township .  

Spotlight on Howick Business

Joyce Sanderson Fordwich DinerHowick purchased four commerce map kiosks, one was installed in the Howick Community Centre, one in the Belmore Arena and one has recently been installed at the Fordwich Diner.  Joyce Sanderson generously offered up the space for the kiosk and is pictured here with the sign.  Thank you Joyce for your support of economic development in Howick Township and congratulations again to you, Wayne and Jennifer on your 10th anniversary owning the Fordwich Diner.

That means that, come May 31, enumerators will be out in full force knocking on doors across the country for those who have not yet completed their questionnaire. To confirm the identity of the enumerator at your door, follow these steps.  It is mandatory for all Canadians to complete the census.
